We are really excited to present our first ever sailing industry regatta. As many of us travel to boat shows and conferences or to visit our customers and suppliers, you hear a common refrain, “Just don’t get to sail very much anymore”.

Well, we’re going to stop the madness and go sailing on June 13. Yes, it’s for bragging rights within the industry and we’re sure there will be a high level of competition out on the water, but it’s also about fun and enjoying the passion that directed our careers in the first place.

We’ll race in J22’s out of the fabulous Sail Newport facility at Fort Adams. After coffee, skipper’s meeting and team photos, we’ll send you out just off Goat Island for a series of short races. Depending on the breeze, we’ll try to get in at least 5 races and then come back and celebrate with a BBQ and prize giving ceremony.

So put away the laptops, store the blackberry in the glove compartment, and come sailing just for the joy of it and the chance to be crowned “the fastest in the sailing industry.”
