Sail America is the trade association for the US sailing industry and plays a vital role for all companies that are involved in providing sailing-related products and services. Established in 1990 by members of the US Sailing Industry, Sail America now has over 500 members representing all segments of the sailing market. With a professional staff, a dedicated Board of Directors, and a team of volunteers and supporters, Sail America works hard to promote the health and growth of SAILING.

Our activities are focused in 5 major areas:

• Targeted Sales Opportunities:Sail America supports and promotes some of the country's best sailboat shows Strictly Sail Chicago, Strictly Sail Miami, Strictly Sail Pacific, and and the St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show.
• Marketing Programs: Sail America's no.1 marketing goal is to grow the sailing market through promoting the sailing lifestyle.
• Industry Information and Knowledge: Sail America provides market information and statistics to help our members make informed business decisions.
• Education and Communications : Sail America provides ongoing business education, including the successful Sailing Industry Conference, and distributes information in a convenient and timely manner.
• Cost-Saving Affinity Programs: Sail America members have access to cost-saving affinity programs.
