The Marriott Hotel Chesapeake Ballroom is the location for this year’s 2011 Sail America’s General Members Meeting to be held Friday, October 7, from 8 ‘til 10 am.
This year’s event is action-packed including networking and breakfast, followed by a series of informative presentations.
On tap includes an overview of Sail America’s activities from the past year, a review of Sail America’s 2012 strategic initiatives, a debut of the all-new Discover Sailing video and new sailing consumer website, plus an update on the 2012 Sailing Industry Conference. In addition, the event will cover plans for the 2012 boat show season, including an introduction to the new Sail America Village concept. One of the highlights will be the announcement of winners from the BEST IN SHOW AWARDS which will be judged onsite prior to this event.
