Sail America's General Members Meeting: Oct. 5 at Phillips Restaurant, Annapolis

The General Members Meeting on Oct. 5 in Annapolis will be the perfect time to learn more about Sail America’s expanded membership benefits and services, as well as hear from experts on future trends in sailing.

The meeting at Phillips Restaurant will kick-off with networking and a Continental Breakfast from 8:00-8:30 a.m. Gary Jobson will then moderate an informal discussion with a panel of sailing celebrities and sailing industry leaders.

“The format will be very different from previous years,” said Banks. “Rather than make our members sit through an hour of formal presentations, this year we have decided to make the meeting more interactive. Gary Jobson will moderate a panel of speakers who will answer questions from the floor about topics ranging from the sport of sailing to new membership services.”

The winner of the drawing for a one-year’s free membership of Sail America will also be announced.

The Phillips Annapolis Harbor Restaurant is located at 12 Dock St., next to the city docks. The meeting will run from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.
