Kenton Smith Advertising & Public Relations Becomes ASA’s Agency of Record

Kenton Smith Advertising & Public Relations, Inc., (KSA&PR) is the American Sailing Association’s (ASA) agency of record, managing, developing and executing a wide variety of public relations initiatives for this leading organization. Specifically, Kenton Smith will execute projects with the intent of reaching and positively influencing several targeted markets.

Driven by a clear need for uniform sailing teaching standards and increased awareness to sailing activities, the American Sailing Association has been the leader in U.S. sailing education for nearly 20 years. During this time, thousands of students and professional sailing instructors have graduated from the ASA’s international network of 270 professionally accredited sailing schools. ASA introduced keelboat certification standards to the U.S. 20 years ago and is the largest U.S. body for keelboat certification.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to work with and to promote the products and services of the ASA,” said Wanda Kenton Smith, agency founder and president. “Our work will include targeted brand messaging to both the sailing and marine industry stakeholders, to ASA’s broad representation of schools and instructors, and to reach prospective students who want to learn the basics or enhance their existing sailing skills.”
