TOM CASEY JOINS BLUE WATER SAILING

Blue Water Sailing's founder and Publisher George Day announced that veteran advertising sales manager Tom Casey of Sarasota, Florida, had joined the magazine as the regional sales manager for Florida, California and The Caribbean.

"We are pleased to have Tom aboard," Day said. "He has a long history in the sailing industry which includes thirty years as a senior regional sales manager for Sail magazine. Tom is one of the most respected sales professionals in the sailing industry. I am confident Tom's talents and experience will add a great deal to the ongoing success of Blue Water Sailing and Cruising Compass."

Casey has run one of Sail magazine's most productive regions for three decades. He also was a co-founder of the St. Petersburg Boat Show (now Strictly Sail St. Pete), created SailFest in Sarasota, Florida, and led the way for bareboat charter companies to open bases in the Bahamas.
