LATE BREAKING UPDATES AND SHOW REPORTS:

Brief Updates on Strictly Sail Miami & Strictly Sail Chicago

According to NMMA Strictly Sail Show Manager Kevin Murphy, space sales for both Miami and Chicago shows are tracking well, with booth space in strong demand and boat space sales heating up.

In regards to Miami, Murphy reports that several larger boat exhibitors had requested that NMMA secure in-water space at Bayside in order to accommodate height restrictions with the MacArthur Causeway Bridge. This request was heard and has been accomplished. Currently, six larger sailboats have been booked for Bayside, and prospective customers for these bigger boats will be provided complimentary shuttle services via van and water taxi.

Murphy also reported that discounted hotel packages for both shows have been secured. Information regarding these programs may be accessed on the nmma.org website. In addition, limited exhibitor parking space in Miami is available two blocks from the new Sea Isle venue for $10.00 per day, and is available now for booking on an advanced space reservation only.

Free exhibitor parking has also been secured for Chicago exhibitors.

Seminars for both shows will be posted to the websites shortly. Good news for Miami seminar participants: all seminar events will be held in air conditioned meeting rooms at the Miami Marriott Hotel.

And a final reminder from Murphy - second payments for both shows are due now.
