New Carbon Fiber Leisure Furl Boom Introduced

Forespar has introduced a carbon fiber version of their popular Leisure Furl in-boom mainsail furling and reefing system. This new boom offers all the same safety and performance benefits of the original Leisure Furl system with an extremely strong and lightweight carbon fiber boom housing.

All offshore versions of the Leisure Furl Boom are now available in a Carbon Fiber version. Typical weight savings will be about 30% over the traditional aluminum version. The carbon fiber boom will be available for boats ranging from 36 to 70 feet in length, with a maximum “P” length of 83 feet. Available in any Awlgrip color, the new boom can be custom-finished to match most any boat color scheme.
