Scott A. Leonard, a.k.a. The Mobile CEO, is embarking on a global adventure with his family in just a few months aboard a 50’ catamaran that had its initial unveiling at Strictly Sail Miami.

Leonard, a lifelong sailor and Certified Financial Planner for an illustrious list of VIPs, has sold his Marina del Rey home in Southern California and traded it in for the 50' Catamaran called "Three Little Birds." Along with his wife Mandi and three children, the family is making plans to live, work and play aboard the vessel as they travel the world and do what they can to team up with charities to help the less fortunate in their various destinations.

“This is a very exciting time for our family,” Leonard said. “We’re all gearing up for the adventure of a lifetime, to explore new horizons and expand our awareness of global conditions for all kinds of people and environments and do what we can to improve quality of life and nature wherever possible.”

Internationally renowned yacht designer Patrick Knowles has lent his expertise in yacht design by consulting with the Leonards so the family can maximize their space. Some of the design highlights include a schoolroom and playroom for the kids, a fully functional office for Scott, with all of the latest technology so that he can be in touch with his clients, financial institutions and Wall Street from anywhere in the world, and an organized, elegant and comfortable general layout to help the family feel at home throughout their voyage.

“I’m thrilled to be able to help the Leonards make their space not only livable, but enjoyable as well. It’s quite a challenge to transform a 50’ catamaran into both an efficient and enjoyable space. What we’ve been able to do is remarkable.”

Leonard has also recently been inducted into the Seakeeper Society and the family will act as ambassadors for the organization.

Word has it that various film and television crews will be meeting with and following the family. More on that soon!
