DISCOVER BOATING RESULTS AVAILABLE

The Discover Boating campaign highlighted its 2011 results in an email to stakeholders recently, noting that it reached milestones of more than 218,000 Facebook fans, increased visits to DiscoverBoating.com by 46 percent, raised mobile visits to DiscoverBoating.com by 323 percent and was also awarded the prestigious Gold Effie for its Making Waves digital campaign.
“Discover Boating generated some outstanding results last year, buoyed by the launch of the Welcome to the Water movement,” said Carl Blackwell, NMMA’s chief marketing officer. “A strong Facebook dialogue, more intuitive DiscoverBoating.com and comprehensive PR and social media efforts helped reignite the campaign and build a foundation moving into 2012. We could not have accomplished what we have or will without the commitment from the industry.”
