“BEST IN SHOW” AWARD WINNERS NAMED

Congratulations to all of the winners of the “Best In Show” awards presented in Annapolis during the annual Sail America General Members meeting!

BEST OVERALL and FEWER THAN 5 BOATS: Lagoon

Judges Comments: Excellent presentation, use of colors, signage, branding, and attention to detail. As you entered the display you were transported to “Club Lagoon.” VIP Lounge, discreet closing area, and easy access to the boats. Staff was attentive, friendly and approachable.  This display was excellent in every way.

 

BEST BOOTH LARGER THAN 200FT: SUNSAIL

Judges Comments: This was a nice booth for a charter company. Bright colors, good use of space, clear signage, and good interaction with the boat on display.  Of the charter companies, Sunsail was the most inviting and seemed to have the most energy.

 

BEST BOOTH 200 FT OR SMALLER: PETTIT PAINT

Judges Comments: Smart, clean display. Considering what they are selling/marketing, the booth was modern, fresh, yet simple. How does one make paint interesting...?  Answer: Pettit!   The large photo of the sailboat at the back of the booth was eye-catching, action-oriented, and memorable. Helped to sell the product.  The best of the best.

 

BEST BOOTH 5 BOATS OR MORE: JEANNEAU

Judges Comments: Had a "presence".... when you walked by, you were compelled to stop. Nice signage/flags.... display had energy and good flow. The circular "center desk" was an inviting "centerpiece" and the tables/chairs were nicely positioned for semi-private meetings with sales reps. Excellent traffic flow.
