Planning Commences for Strictly Sail™ Shows in Chicago, Miami and Oakland

Exhibitor space applications were mailed in July for the nation’s largest indoor “all-sail” show, Strictly Sail Chicago, which sails into Navy Pier on Jan. 29-Feb. 1, 2009, and for Strictly Sail Miami, the sailing component of “The World’s Greatest Boat Show,” which runs Feb. 12-16, 2009 at Miamarina at Bayside.

Exhibitor space applications will be mailed in October for Strictly Sail Pacific, the West Coast’s only “all-sail” boat show, which will be held from April 15-19, 2009 at the Bay area’s Jack London Square. Sail America Executive Director Jonathan Banks and NMMA’s Ben Wold and Kevin Murphy visited the Bay Area in late August for a committee meeting and to meet with the Port of Oakland and Jack London Square Partners. Planning for next year’s show is well underway and the show team is working hard to secure additional space to meet exhibitors’ requirements.

If you have not yet received your 2009 Strictly Sail Chicago or Miami exhibitor space application, please contact Lori Gleason at her new number at: 312-240-6802 or lgleason@nmma.org. For information regarding show operations, hotels, or sponsorship opportunities, please contact NMMA National Show Manager Kevin Murphy at his new office at 401-293-5207 or kmurphy@nmma.org. Both Gleason and Murphy will receive e-mails sent to their prior addresses at Sail America, but please note their new contact information.
