SailFest Baltimore To Make Waves at Baltimore Boat Show
SailFest Baltimore returns for its second year in 2009 at
the Baltimore Boat Show, offering sailors a special dedicated
sailing section, including a wide selection of keelboats, catamarans,
scows, skiffs, sails and rigging, sailing gear, and equipment.
The 50,000-square-foot SailFest is
a featured, promoted part of the Baltimore
Boat Show, which will dock at the Baltimore
Convention Center from Wednesday, January
21-through Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009. Special
daily educational sailing seminars produced
by Sail America and family friendly activities
will round out this new feature at the five-day
show.
Baltimore’s oldest and largest annual indoor boat show will swell
to 300,000 square feet of exhibits and activities
and occupy every exhibition hall of the Baltimore
Convention Center. An expanded powerboat section
will also offer visitors more than 600 powerboats,
personal watercraft, performance boats and
luxury yachts. A special fishing boat section
is also planned. In addition to a new, 3,000-square-foot Accessories
Pavilion, more than 150 manufacturers and exhibitors, from marine electronics
to specialty fishing lures, will display the newest models, hottest
products, and most advanced technologies for both sailors, power boaters
and fishing enthusiasts alike. For more information, please go to http://www.baltimoreboatshow.com
